His Name Is Still ‘Immanuel’
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. (Matthew 1:23)

The name Emmanuel signifies God’s divine presence with us. Not just during the holiday season, but throughout the year we should remember that God is with us.

Grief causes many to struggle during the holiday season. The love and presence of Almighty God does not leave because we are experiencing heartache.

God is so committed to the believer that He has promised His presence even when we face grief and uncertainties in life. His love is unconditional and does not change because of circumstances that life presents to us. Holiday grief is one of life’s most challenging issues. You are not alone!

Scripture Meditation: Isaiah 41:10
Fear thou not; for I
am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. (Isaiah 41:10 KJV)

Prayer:

Thank You God for not leaving me to grieve alone. Thank You for being with me as I walk through this valley. Amen
